道外を旅した時に小川の水の美しさに感動して描いた作品です。直接目に見えるものだけではなく、その時の感情・周りの空気もすべて色とかたちに置き換えて、制作しています。懐かしい場所を思い出しながら水の流れのように美しく軽やかに心の中で旅してもらえたら嬉しいです。

When taking a trip outdoors I was touched by the beauty of the water flowing through a small stream. I wanted to recreate this feeling within this piece of work. I didn’t just want to capture the visible but also replace the emotions that were flowing through me as well as the surrounding atmosphere into colour and a physical form. If while looking at my piece, you too relive a memory in which you witnessed such beauty, then I will be happy.

目的を決めずに、自転車で旅をしていた20代前半。旅の途中にはいろいろな''青''がありました。 この作品の''青''は小川の水の美しさにに感動して描いた作品だそうです。また、水の流れのように軽やかに自転車で旅をしたいと思わせてくれる作品でした。
